Manufactured to the highest quality standards in the industry, all 425U doors come with Hörmann's exclusive FingerGuard™ pinch resistant section joints. The 1¾" thick door panel is constructed using our environmentally friendly, 100 percent CFC-free, proprietary polyurethane blend that is evenly injected between galvanized steel sheets via a continuous computer-controlled process.
Galvanized steel sheets are treated with a bonding adhesive followed by a durable primer coating for a long-lasting surface finish. Standard panel design is shallow ribbed; smooth flush is optional. A deep tongue and groove section profile along with center hinges with steel reinforced backer plate, add to overall structural integrity of the door.
Heavy-duty between-section-seals perform as gaskets between section seams, reducing air infiltration while enhancing insulating properties, achieving an R-value of 16.1. White is the standard color, and for custom specifications, our Galaxy Paint System offers colors to match any color under the stars. Stainless steel accent designs are another available option for detailed customization.

The 425U panel texture on both the shallow ribbed and flush designs have a stucco texture as standard. A smooth texture is optional on the flush design. Our door panels are constructed using top-of-the-line galvanized steel sheets that are treated with four layers of a strength and weather-resistant coating for a long-lasting surface finish and reduced maintenance costs.
