FingerGuard™ pinch-resistant safety with superior insulation. Installed by RAV Garage Door Repair.
Insulation is standard on the 325S standard-duty (25 gauge steel) and the 324S heavy-duty (24 gauge steel) commercial steel sandwich doors. In addition, FingerGuard™ pinch-resistant section joints promote safety and reduce risk of injury.
As with all our commercial models, traditional Hörmann quality is evident with our layered panel bonding construction process. First, hot dipped galvanizing is applied to the steel substrate, followed by a baked-on polyester base coat, then a durable baked-on polyester finish coat. This layering creates a long-lasting surface finish for maximum protection against adverse effects of the elements.
The 2" thick door panel has an R-value of 10.5 for enhanced energy efficiency and sound-dampening qualities, and polystyrene insulation fills the top of the door channel for maximum insulation. Our unique precision hinges with solid pivoting shaft minimize wear on moving parts for a long service life.
